The Beast uses industrial grade belt driven linear guides for high-quality motion. Constructed in aluminum, steel and steel reinforced timing belt drive, the linear guides, excellent positional repeatability of +-0.1mm and linear accuracy of +-0.05mm using direct drive NEMA 23 motors.
The framework of the Beast is made of 4040 aluminum profiles that maintain structural rigidity under load and high stress during operation. The Beast also uses precision-machined components for all functional parts to ensure a high quality and accurate output.
Intense research and development resulted in QwikFab discovering innovative methods of cable management that allows for maximised use of space and fumble-free motion of wires and extruder priming processes that ensure safety to the user and quality of the print.
